			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Need help attracting what you want? A great visualization tool I use is to create a want list.  Simply start listing things, circumstances, or relationships that you want to materialize in your life.  Free flow your desires and don&#8217;t censor yourself.</p>
<p>Your mind is a safe zone. There are no obstacles, limits, or judgments.  Don&#8217;t think, plan, or focus on the HOW!  Just think, choose and define the <span style="text-decoration: underline;">WHAT</span>!  Ask yourself, &#8220;What is it that I truly want?&#8221; Big or small has no significance in this exercise.  Is your can opener broken? Put it on your list.  Would you love a whirlpool hot tub to unwind at the end of the day?  Put it on your list. This list is for you and you only.  No one will judge it.</p>
<p>Please know, this is <em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">not</span></em> a wish list.  Wishes have the perception of being distant, unrealistic, and unattainable.  Don&#8217;t play a mind trick on yourself and sabotage the exercise.  The key is to <strong>BELIEVE</strong> you can attain the items on your list.  Your choices are not fantasy; they are not out of your reach.  The more you believe you can get them and visualize that you already have them, the more you will attract them to you.  Until one day, you get what you wanted and can cross it off.  I  <strong>LOVE</strong> crossing items off my want list and I get to do it all the time.</p>
<p>What do you have to lose?</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s give it a try. Write up a list and afterward select a few items that you deeply want.  Take a few moments to visualize what it would be like to have it in your hands or in your life.  Revel in it.  Each time you do this, you are bringing it closer to you.</p>
<p>For inspiration and guidance, I have included my current want list.  It is in no particular order of importance and there is no time limit on attainment, unless I choose to apply a specific timeline to one.</p>
<p>Remember, THINK BIG and don&#8217;t limit yourself!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We have now entered a season of change.  However, aside from our home values dropping, expenses rising, and our investments shrinking, the change has not been good.  After electing Barrack Obama, finally some positive change is coming&#8212; but it&#8217;s not here yet.  I find myself and many others, feeling insecure about the future for our families.  Will we be able to cover the mortgage, create an emergency fund or provide for our children?  I find fear creeping in and overtaking our thoughts.  Even if our jobs are secure, there are so many other factors that can cause financial distress that most of us are one illness away from losing everything.  So we must fight and attack these thoughts.  Our minds are too powerful that even our thoughts, if focused on the wrong things, can destroy our lives.  The key is in focusing on what we <span style="text-decoration: underline;">do</span> want and not on what we don&#8217;t.  This is really hard.  But if you want to best protect your assets, you must first protect your mind.  One way to attack fear head on is to do the following exercise.</p>
<p>On a sheet of paper, draw a line down the center and list all of the current fears you have.  Everything! All the negative chatter in your head that has been nagging you day and night, causing lost sleep and anxiety.  For example &#8220;I can&#8217;t pay my bills, I owe everyone money, I can&#8217;t get a job . . . etc.  These items may be reality for you, but we are not interested in the current state. We want to bring positive change.  Before you can act on something you must visualize what you want in detail.  Just like a radio, if you don&#8217;t like what&#8217;s on, change the station.  This is how.  On the other side of your list take each negative item and change it to a positive.  This is where real change comes in.</p>

<p><strong>Your assignment</strong>: Pick an affirmation you created.  One that you really want to bring into your reality.  Say it in the morning and before you go to bed. Now I don&#8217;t care how you choose to say it.  Write it down, say it out loud, say it in front of the mirror, but please affirm it to yourself. Then visualize what your life would be like if you lived this statement.  How would you feel inside?</p>
<p>Close your eyes and enjoy these feelings until you are satisfied.  If you are in a difficult place emotionally and find it hard to feel it, then smile with your eyes closed!  This is an easy way to modify your mood.  Smile big, and show some teeth!  I&#8217;m pulling for you.  Cause&#8217; when you win, I win, we all win.</p>
